The friends and colleagues of actor Jeremy Renner, who is in hospital in “critical but stable” condition after a snowplow accident, are devastated.
Hawkeye’s co-star Hailee Steinfeld took to Twitter to wish her well and express her sadness and fear.
“It hasn’t even been 24 hours since the new year. Jeremy, please get well soon! Get well soon. You are my favorite Avenger.”

In a second post, she said: “I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard the news about Jeremy Renner. I’m really sad and scared. To my loving partner, loving Avenger. My prayers are for you and your family. I really do pray that get well soon. We need you.”
How did the accident in the snow happen?
According to foreign media, Renner was injured while riding a snowmobile and trying to clear snow.
He is a fan of heavy machinery and due to the frequent snowfall, he has purchased special machines which he uses to clear his large private driveway as well as the roads and paths in his area.
His spokeswoman disclosed the incident, saying, “The accident is related to weather conditions during snow removal. His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”
The Guardian reported that Renner was airlifted to the hospital. On Sunday morning, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, near Reno, was called to the ranch. Public information officer Christine Vitti said: “Upon arrival, officers coordinated with the hospital to arrange for the actor to be medically airlifted to a local hospital. Renner was the only person involved and the accident investigation team is investigating the circumstances.
In the past, Renner has revealed that he often spends time working with local fire departments, helping their crews, and has even bought a spare fire truck. For More Info: Smoothies News
